3 Energy SK is taking part in the preparation of the new WIA Slovakia production plant in Martin
The town of Martin is entering a new chapter in its industrial history. WIA Slovakia, the European branch of Hyundai Wia belonging to the Hyundai Motor Group, has purchased the former production complex of ECCO Slovakia, which ceased its operations in 2025.
The new investor plans to build a modern production plant in the complex, focused on the manufacture of components for the automotive industry. The production will mainly include cooling systems for electric-vehicle battery packs and other parts intended for major global carmakers. The project represents a significant investment in the region and, at the same time, creates the conditions for the emergence of new jobs.
3 Energy SK is proud to be part of this important transformation. We are actively involved in the reconstruction and preparation of the production facilities, which will meet the demanding requirements of the modern automotive industry.
We see this project as an important impulse for the economic development of the Turiec region and, at the same time, as an opportunity to build on the strong industrial tradition of the town of Martin.
